About Mark

Biography

Mark’s career began in Los Angeles where he entertained at piano bars in the Diamond Jim Steakhouse chain. He subsequently went on to play at the Century Plaza Hotel and Century House restaurant, as well as the Brentwood Inn, the Fireside Inn and Sorrentino’s in Toluca Lake. During this time, Mark was frequently playing golf with Harvey Korman and Tim Conway, of the Carol Burnett Show, and McLean Stevenson, the esteemed actor on M*A*S*H. Mark would eventually become Stevenson’s music advisor at NBC Burbank.

After numerous years in Los Angeles, Mark moved to Denver and quickly became the city’s most notable pianist. He played at the Sheraton Tech Center, the Brown Palace, the Westin Tabor Center for more than a decade and Mel’s Bar and Grill in Cherry Creek. Additionally, Mark played for seven years at the Grand Hyatt and five years as the house pianist and music director of the Black Crown. He and his trio also played for years at the Inverness Hotel and Dazzle Jazz club. Mark currently plays, sings and entertains crowds at his piano bar at the Perfect Landing Restaurant in Centennial.

Mark has released five CDs, including solo piano and CDs with his trio, MP3. In his spare time, Mark gives vocal and piano lessons and is an avid fly fisherman. His passion for music is unparalleled, as is his talent.
